Mrs. Cora M. Holt 12/21/1944 – 02/09/2024Mrs. Cora Mae Presnell Holt, age 79, of White Pine, passed away Friday evening, February 9, 2024 at home. She was preceded in death by her husband Pete Holt; parents Lindsey and Rhoda Presnell; 4 sisters and 5 brothers. Survivors include her children Wayne (Karen) Holt, Billy (Jane) Holt, Robert (Rhonda) Holt and Russell (Melanie) Holt; grandchildren Josh Holt, Nickie Watts, Christopher Holt, Amber Trentham, Christen Ray and Jessica Cody ; great-grandchildren Carter Douglas, Landon Holt, Oakley Holt, Ben Watts III, Jackson Watts, Adam Watts, Katie Watts, Pete Watts, Caydon Ray, Dayton Trentham, Dalton Trentham, Dawson Trentham, Nolan Trentham, Easton Holt, Brynle Holt and Kristhpher Bull and a sister Shirley ( Kermit) Griffin. Additional survivors include several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. The family would like to express a special thank you to Smoky Mountain Home Health & Hospice, and Tammy and Jabo Francis. Everyone was amazing. The funeral service will be held 7:00 P.M. Tuesday evening, February 13, 2024 in the Costner-Maloy & Brown Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Ben Watts officiating. The family and friends will meet at 10:45 A.M. Wednesday at Clark Cemetery ( Deep Gap) for the 11:00 A.M. interment. The family will receive friends from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M.
