Mrs. Dorothy Rollins Hall

Mrs. Dorothy Rollins Griffin Hall, age 92, of Newport, passed away Monday evening, January 15, 2024 at her home. She was preceded in death by her husband Neal Griffin; son Larry Griffin; parents Arlie and Nancy Rollins; sister Gladys Rollins and brothers George, Cauley, Gene, Carl and Earnest Rollins and a sons-in-law Jerry Lane and Terry Buckner. Survivors include her children Steve (Regina) Griffin, Effie (Randy) Fine, Lorene Lane and Johnny Griffin; grandchildren Laura Lane, Jacey, McKalyne, Stephen, Travis (Shea), Jessie and Dryden Griffin; great-grandchildren Carter, Emily, Harper and Waylon Griffin and Melody Britton. Additional survivors include several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. The family wishes to express a special thank you to Smoky Mountain Hospice and Jamie Yarborough, Danielle and Addie Carmichael. The funeral service will be held at 6:00 p.m. Monday evening, January 22, 2024 in the Costner-Maloy & Brown Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Jackie Swanger officiating. The family and friends will meet at 1:45 p.m. Thursday at Rollins Cemetery for the 2:00 p.m. interment.
