Mrs. Linda D. Holt 01/21/1950 – 01/12/2024 Mrs. Linda Doris Messer Holt, age 73, of Parrottsville, passed away Friday morning, January 12, 2024 at her home. She was a member of the Church of God. She was a foster parent, having nurtured many children since 1981. She was preceded in death by her parents Lewis and Tossie Messer; sisters Joan O’Neal and Idella Messer and a brother Ted Messer. Survivors include her Husband Robert Holt of the home; children Alice (Jeffrey) Starnes, Nicolas Holt, Daniel Holt, Amber Holt, Emily Holt, Willie Holt, Angela (Glenn) Wyse, Melinda (Ray) Manos and Margaret (Dustin) Frady; 10 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren and a brother Wilson Messer. Additional survivors include several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Family and friends will meet at 9:45 a.m. Thursday, January 18, 2024 at Resthaven Memorial Gardens for the 10:00 a.m. graveside service with Pastor Joe Cureton officiating. The family will host an additional Memorial Service at a later date. Funeral Arrangements entrusted to Costner-Maloy & Brown Funeral Home.
