Scott Bigler, age 78 of Newport, went home to be in the presence of our Lord Jesus in the early morning of Wednesday, April 6, 2022.
He had a full life including his childhood he loved so much in St. Anthony not far from the the Teton Mountains in Idaho. He was in the Air Force and Navy and flew helicopters in Vietnam. He went to Boise State and became an x-ray technician. Later he learned computer programming and had his own business for 25 years creating inventory control and point of sales programs. He shared his testimony and taught on spiritual warfare from church to church. He taught adult Sunday School, helped friends start their own church and had a home group when we lived in VA. He was pastor of a church here in TN and wrote a book. He enjoyed building furniture and guitars as well as learning to play them. He enjoyed traveling to many states in the US and he sure loved our many dogs and miniature horses.
Scott is survived by his wife of almost 35 years, Linda-Sue, his sister Brenda Hamilton and brother in law, Tom Hamilton, his daughter, Monique Lake, son J Bigler, his stepchildren Steven Damon and Katie Damon, eight grandchildren - Jessica, Ersinia, Elisha, Lecresia, Aarin, Tomas, Joshua and Zak, 18 great grandchildren, 2 nephews and a niece.
He loved his life on our property surrounded by mountains that we named English Mountain Sanctuary on Kingdom Way! Now he is in God's Kingdom and enjoying more peace, joy and freedom than he ever knew here on earth.
Brown Funeral Home is honored to assist the Bigler family with cremation arrangements.
