James “Jimmy” Wesley Large, age 57 of Cosby, passed away at his home on Wednesday, March 2, 2022.

A proud veteran of the United States Marine Corps, Jimmy will be remembered as a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He was an avid fisherman, and loved spending time with his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James B. & Vivian Large; grandparents, Baxter & Julia Large and Pleas & Frances Williams; and granddaughter, Maggie Loyd.

He is survived by his wife, Sandra E. Large; children, Jessica Loyd & fiance’ Jeffrey Ownby; Jordan Large, Megan (Zach) Worex, Tristan (Heidi) Proffitt, Brad (Madii) Williams; grandchildren, Bentley & Eryk Ownby, Bentley Large, Brayden & Harper Worex, Bradlee & Tinzlee Proffitt, & Dallas, Payton, & Bo Williams; and best friends, Brad Oakley & Tim Munson.

Per his request, Jimmy was cremated; with a Celebration of Life to be held at a later date.
