Juanita Giles, age 83 of Parrottsville, passed away peacefully at her home on the morning of Tuesday, March 1, 2022.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Rev. Warren & Elsie Hurley; daughters, Debbie Hannah & Donna Evans; grandson, Jonathan Hensley; sister, Mary Lou Williams; and brothers, Doyle & Ralph Hurley.

She is survived by her daughter, Denese (Jimmy) Mooneyham; granddaughter, Kristy Evans; great-granddaughter, Mollie Hensley; son-in-law, Farren Hannah; sisters-in-law, Judy & Patricia Hurley; special nephew & niece, Billy Williams & Cindy Shropshire; best friend, Peachie Cody; and caregiver, Melinda Vadassy.

The family would like to extend thanks to the staff of Smoky Mountain Home Health & Hospice, with special gratitude for Debbie Williams & Charlie Grooms.

A graveside service will be held at 1PM Friday, March 4, 2022 at Stokely Chapel cemetery. Family & friends may also offer condolences online at www.brownfuneralhomenewport.com
