Paul B. Poe, Sr., age 85 of Dandridge, passed away Monday, February 21, 2022 at Jefferson Park.
Paul retired from Enka following a career that spanned more than 30 years. He loved fishing, gardening, collecting antiques, and sharing stories with everyone.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Pearl & Dora Poe; children, Junior, Teresa, & Debbie Poe; brothers, Bill & Jack Poe; and sister, Beatrice Morris.
He is survived by his wife, Carolyn; the mother of his children, Ruth Poe Brooks; daughter-in-law (& caregiver), Ida Poe; grandchildren, Derek Poe (& April), Lucas (Madison) Poe, & Siobhan (Dave) Elkins; great-grandchildren, Aaliyah, Carson, & Kinslee Poe, Gage Elkins, Haleigh (Christian) Ratliff, & Arianna Elkins; great-great granddaughter, Lilah Ratliff; several nieces, nephews, & special friends; and his beloved cat, “Puss”.
The family wishes to send love and appreciation to the staff at Jefferson Park of Dandridge and Smoky Mountain Home Health & Hospice, for the care and kindness shown to Paul.
Per his request, Paul was cremated. Family & friends will hold a Celebration of Life at a later date.
